Policies

• No question is too stupid.
  
  
• Politeness is important. No flaming, no name calling. All points of view are valid, until you hurt someone else. Play nice. Do unto others. Etc.
  
  
• Spam is forbidden. For the purposes of this list, spam will be defined as sales solicitations which are unrelated to the list’s topics.

  e.g.

  • “Hey gang, I have a mess of blue glass beads that I am willing to sell cheap” is acceptable.
  • “One million e-mail addresses for only $100” is NOT.

  You may post to tell us that you have one or more of your handmade items for sale. Please keep this number of posts to a reasonable level. We do NOT need daily Ebay updates!

  Announcements of site sales, special deals, discounts, are equally acceptable, also within reason.

  Suppliers are welcome to offer special discounts and deals to list members.

   

• Normal Netiquette rules apply, NO SHOUTING, etc.
  
  
• No attachments. Attachments will be stripped off. This is too prevent the spread of viruses. Plain text messages until such time as we have determined that everyone has the bandwidth and browser for it. No attachments, such as jpegs, etc.
  
  
• The privacy of the list members will be respected. Email will not be forwarded or quoted off-list without obtaining permission from the author(s) first.
  
  
• The list of members is NOT for sale.
